Lighting for Red Arowana-Help!!

Pak JD Winata & all the expert out there, pls enlighten me....I was told that it's best to keep the light for the arowana on for 24 hours .... but on the another hand, some told me that it's best to on the light for 12 hours only. So I'm wondering whether it's the best to on for 24 hours as told and bring no harm to the arowana in long run....:(

To be honest you'll get better with 24h treatment but i'd rather prefer 12h cycle just for descent reason , no fish in nature get 24h day light , they need rest too for their bio balance

If you persist to keep the lights on for 24 hours............, you should not keep on all of the lights in the night, just keep on one in the middle. Then confirm aro's appetite in the morning.
My RTG is OK with this method:)

I think also depend on the fish itself... 24 hours of course you'll get the best result, but naturally, it will be better if we can accomodate with the actual condition too...

Ideal if 12 hours only.

24 hours may be stressful for the aro, that can invite illness.
