Pardon me to interupt but in fact arowana are already hatched by thousands of numbers every year in many farms in Indonesia , to be honest i thinks they will extinct in their real habitats because polution of industrial waste in borneo also relocation of non genuine species aro in wrong habitats (government rules to release 10% of hatchery fries to the nature, but they release wrong variant at other variant habitas)
I could 100% guarantee as long as arowana are still commercial trade fish ,they will survived , the real danger are in the real nature because of polution and industrialization , just like orangutans monkey, they will extinct at their habitats
