I am not comparing between Wild's arowana and captive-bred's Arowana, but, if the question is "Do Aros eat Flies?" only, I prefer to say "YES" they do.
The Arowana in the wild is a surface-feeder. It swims almost at the surface of the water constantly looking upwards for
insects to capture and feed on. This is the only reason why I prefer to answer "yes" on the above subject.
