2 Red Com tank

Hi

Need some advice b4 i do this .. I hv 1 pc 20" Br and 1 pc 14" SR .Was told the BR is a Female and Sr is a Male .Both currently is in a diff tank . I thinking to com both fish in one 6 x2.5(W)x2 . Currently i hv my SR hv eating problem . How this com can improve his feeding intake

Any advice ? Sould i com or not ?
